Color Week Comic

The first color week comic! This blog just got a ton of attention. Not sure where it was from and it already seems to be fading, but I was getting thousands of views a day here for a minute. Crazy.

QUARANTINE WEEK

A week comic involving health issues and quarantine. This will probably be my last hand lettered comic. Due to the growing problems with my extremities, Lettering has just gotten too difficult. So, I've put together a hand written font to capture the feel. It's sort of a sad thing, but my comics will now go way faster, so in a way it's positive.

BURNING FENGUS WEEK COMIC

My latest week comic. This one includes a Burning Fengus, our annual camping trip to the Black Rock Desert. It also ended on a sad note, with the memorial of my friend Eric ending up right after the trip. I was glad to put this one in his memory.

THE FORGOTTEN WEEK

A week comic I'd totally forgotten about! Didn't end up in my collection I had printed. Well, one to start the next volume I guess.

1 WEEK ON THE ROAD

A new week comic. This one covers a trip through Olympia down to the bay area. The timeline of it gets super wonky, but I still enjoy it.
Now, I think I'm ready to make a book of all these week comics!

1 WEEK, 8 DAYS A WEEK

This is my first week comic since I moved back to my home town of Nevada City. I saw a lot of music during this comic, I got my ass kicked drawing this many guitars and drums.

WEEK COMIC- ANDY

A week comic I did of my friend Andy's life down in the bay. This was for a project my brother had come up with: four differernt people document a week of their life, making up a whole month. The book never came together, but this is one of those weeks.

The comic will someday have ink washes.

Setember, part 1

This is my contribution for an unfinished collaboration comic my brother and I were working on. He was inspired my my week comics, and wanted to get four people together to work chronicle one month from different perspectives.  The last one was never finished, though hopefully we will see it soon. This is my week for it, which looking back is a very exciting one. It strikes me also because it's the first week comic I did when I moved back to my hometown. There's an excitement about life, an enthusiasm happening in this comic I kind of miss. Hopefully the book will be done someday soon as a mini trade.

This is the first in a series of autobiographical comics I've been doing, each documenting a week of my life.
