ON THE EDGE

This visual has been sticking with me for a long time. The idea of someone perched on the edge of a building that's been sheared in half. They are calmly sitting, with blue skies behind them, watching the world fall apart. Apathetic or truly hopeful? I have my own feelings on it.

FENGUS MURAL

Going through my hard drive, making space and organizing. Made me realize how much of my art has never made it to this blog. Going to update more regularly just to catch up with the stuff I already have photographed or scanned. This was a large scale painting I did at Casa Zimbabwe, a mostly student co-op in Berkeley. My friend lived there and was obligated to do work around the house. Having me paint this was his way of getting out of it.
