FACE DESIGN

 I've got an art show at the beginning of the new year and have been trying to make some new work for it. This was my first, and probably best project with my recently acquired watercolor pens.

 I'm testing a new way to do ink washes on my comics. I'm scanning the pages, printing them on watercolor paper and doing the washes there, then re-scanning. Unfortunately I had a little blurring of the lines, and had to copy the line work off the original image and overlay it on the edit. Not sure if it's the most efficient method. I used to just do ink washes on the originals, but the blue lines show and pencil marks show through the washes and I have to digitally edit them afterwards

This picture went kind of viral. Wasn't sure how to capitalize on it, but pretty fun

SPERBLE ELITE- FATE OF THE JELLYFISH

A splash page from the upcoming issue of The Sperble Elite. This issue will be the end of the first part of the Sperble Trilogy to try to get some pitches done in the meantime.

 

TIGER HEAD

 An old Sperble Elite picture I updated. The coloring is partially digital, partially watercolor. Like the effect it created. This is also my first attempt digitally lettering word balloons. It worked okay, but I've got some work to do.

FANTASY ART OCTOBER- WEEK 2

 Week 2 of my Fantasy Art October. The Orc was made on Procreate, probably the most complete picture I've managed on that app yet. The Unicorn is my favorite of the whole project though.

FANTASY ART OCTOBER WEEK 1

I made a list of art prompts for October. It's been really fun, got a pretty big group in on this one. The themes were all fantasy themed. This is my first week of pictures.

QUARANTINE WEEK

A week comic involving health issues and quarantine. This will probably be my last hand lettered comic. Due to the growing problems with my extremities, Lettering has just gotten too difficult. So, I've put together a hand written font to capture the feel. It's sort of a sad thing, but my comics will now go way faster, so in a way it's positive.

 

 

 

Delta Green Fan Art

Another piece of art of a Glass Cannon. This one is for the game Delta Green, a Lovecraftian horror pen and paper rpg. I hope I win the contest, the prize is the Delta Green Handbook and I want to play that game!

BUZZBUZZ

My friend John had my draw this picture for his band Buzzbuzz. He inverted it and added the font. Inversion added a lot.
